Ongoing Course Improvements
Over the course of a number of years renowned golf course architect Ken Moodie and his company Creative Golf Design has worked with us to manage a re-design of all our bunkering and to improve the course.
The 8th par 4 has seen the greatest changes with a realignment of the hole, new fairway bunkers and wholly restructured greenside bunkering - see photo on right .
We have also replaced and upgraded the
course irrigation
system with enhanced watering controls and continue with our plans for a new
reservoir
between the 8th and 17th holes to create a more secure water resource for the future.
A more recent programme has seen the re-lining of all the course bunkers to improve playability and consistency following successful trials a year ago on the par 3 holes, while the current focus is on improving paths on the course.
